Here is the step by step making process of crispy and easy fried chicken fingers with buttermilk and breadcrumbs. This is also called fried chicken tenders. Lets see the cooking process of buttermilk crispy chicken.
Ingredients for chicken fingers recipe
- Boneless Chicken breast 500 grams
- Hot chili powder 1 tbsp
- Black pepper powder 1-1/2 tbsp
- ginger-garlic paste 1 tbsp
- mild paprika 1/2 tbsp
- 1/3rd cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs white
- cumin powder 1/2 tbsp
- salt to taste
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
- cooking oil
Take chicken breast and cut into long and 1 inch thin strips. Wash them then rinse.
Place the chicken tenders in a big mixing bowl, add buttermilk, cumin powder, hot chilli powder, black pepper, ginger-garlic paste, salt, then mix them well for seasoning.
Keep the seasoning chicken in a refrigerator for 30 minutes to marinade them.
Pour two eggs white in a mixing bowl and keep aside.
Take 2 cups of breadcrumbs on a plate. Sprinkle 1/2 tbsp salt and 1/2 tbsp mild paprika then combine well.
Open the refrigerator and keep out the marinated chicken from it.
Take the chicken fingers one by one, dip them in egg white then coated with breadcrumbs.
Pour enough cooking oil in a deep frying pan, heat it over medium flame.
Place the chicken tenders one by one in the cooking oil when it hot enough.
Cook the chicken strips until they turn golden brown. Remember, stir them often so that all sides cook well.
Remove from the oil and place on a kitchen towel to absorb extra oil.
Now the crispy fried chicken strips are ready to serve. Serve them with your favourite sauces and salads.
